2022.01.24 10:34 Draznik113 Ordering stuff from china, safe?
Hello everyone, not sure if this is correct sub to post this, but hopefully it is. i'm a person from Europe, trying to order a lot of chilies of a specific type from china. I'm making chili oil and trying to find the cheapest way to get chilies, which are by far the highest cost i have right now. I currently pay for them around 25€ for 1 kg... So i've been looking around a bit, and found some chinese websites which apparently can ship huge orders of these chilies for a insanely low price. Like a tone of chillies for maybe a thousand euros or something like that... The websites i checked were alibaba.com, drychillies.com and made-in-china.com. Is this something that is too good to be true or do they just make such high quantites of chilies that they are able to afford to sell at these prices? Or is it all just a big scam? Dont really have a bunch of money to just throw around so i wanna be sure before big purchases...
Thank you all!

“We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count.” ― Neal A. MaxwellCounting our blessings shows how grateful we are for every little things we have in our life. But being a blessing to other’s life and making it count is the greatest accomplishment of human life.

2022.01.24 10:34 Madredchris BSOD VIDEO TDR FAILURE 2070 Super
Lately i've been getting frequent but inconsistent BSOD's. I've been using this gpu for about 2,5 years and have never had this before.
The error message i get on the BSOD is:
Message: video tdr failure (nvlddmkm.sys).
Some googling showed that it is to be faulty drivers. I mean, sure. I updated my drivers but still have the same problem.
I cannot really recreate the error. Sometimes im playing God of war with a youtube video on my seconds and discord stream on and whatnot and everything works just fine.
But it happens totally at random, an example which is fresh in memory: Just 5 minutes ago i was watching some youtube and launched warzone installation and it happened again. It is really weird and i do not know how to fix so here i am.
Love you all for being an awesome community. Thanks!

2022.01.24 10:34 whatscrackin123 Brain feels like its burning after coming off Abilify
I am a 26 year old male and I had a psychotic episode of unknown cause when i was 24. I was hospitalised for 1 week and put on abilify. In october of last year I came off abilify (as was recommended by my psychiatrist at the time) but literally the very day that I stopped taking the medication my brain has felt like its burning non-stop and I have also developed extreme mental fatigue in which I cant work because I am extremely tired from completing even mundane tasks such as unloading the dishwasher. I have spoked to multiple doctors about this and they have more or less said just to wait it out and it should fix its self. The problem is, its debilitating and i cant really live at all... Has anyone encountered anything similar to my situation/offer some practical advice as to what my next steps should be. Thanks

2022.01.24 10:34 NOOB101007II Empires Guard EG II-3 members-1 GL-Around 7 or 6 million power, may be 8 million
My last guild back in last year has crumbled because of someone taking it over. I didnt play for a while and i have some strong connections in the game including 2 of my very good friends whenever theyre done with their endeavors. One of them have a GL and the others doing their best to get SEE. My guild will take anyone, even new players. And we will help with whatever you need however we can. We havent established much rules but will when the guild gets a little bigger. Nothing too big. Just a few needed rules such as proper communication and a inactive rule later on. Discord is optional but highly recommended! We are a guild that loves to be social. We would love to hear about your personal life. Anyone is allowed. We do not discriminate against anything you may do. I hope my post attracts someone even if its just a few people! Thank you.

2022.01.24 10:34 onlyupvdogsh Conflicting information regarding Mint telemetry
I have been searching various information regarding what kind of telemetry some distros collect. One of the main ones I looked up is Linux Mint. Searching through the Mint forums and some reddit threads, the consensus seemed that Mint doesn't collect any data. On the official website there are also 2 blog posts where an official admin mentions they do not collect user data.
However, an independent test from a website called Distro Telemetry Watch reports that they collect and analyze a lot of data - low level info, hardware specs, software versions, uptime, etc (here).
I found this a bit concerning, since they mention that they specifically don't collect any hardware information, and that also do not use any backports to relay any. And yet a test indicates the complete opposite.
Does anyone have any insight on this topic?
